mudakathan keerai dosai

Today I'm going to share green dosai recipe. Here, our green color for dosa is from mudakathan leaves. Its a climbing plant. The leaves relives gastric related problems like knee pain, back pain. Its not just for aged people everyone can eat.This recipe is so easy to make and healthy as well. Just mix it in idli batter and make dosa.
My mom used to make this dosa at least once in a month. We don't like it that much when we are young.  As we grow we started liking it. Adding ghee gives crispy dosa and kids will also love it. Tangy spicy tomato chutney and idli sambar goes very well with it.



INGREDIENTS:
Modakathan keerai - 1 cup
Idli batter                   - 2 1/2 cup

STEPS:

Collect the leaves and thoroughly wash. Set aside in the stainer. The water must be completed dropped out.  Since the leaf itself a bit moisture.

Now grind in a nice and add it to the idli batter. No need for salt.

Take a made full.of batter and spread it in a hot  dosa tawa.

Simmer and cook slow now for 1/2 a second and rise the flame. When it half cooked flip and cook the other side.

If you want add some ghee. Now crispy green modakathan dosai is ready.

Serve with tangy spicy tomato chutney or idli sambar.
